Pink sapphire ring. 18k. Pop Rock

This is Pop Rock.

Pop Rock has a frosty translucent berry pink sapphire. Sometimes it looks a little lighter and other times it's a brighter berry pink. Her stone is hand cut and some of the facets are a little uneven. The fourth photo was taken outside in the natural light and the one on my hand was taken inside near a window, my finger is about a size 4. I made Pop Rock out of a clay like wax to give her an earthy feel. I cast her in 18k gold and gave her a rustic matte finish, it has some texture and may look a little shimmery in the light. Pop rock was made as a stacking ring.

Rose cut sapphire - about 8.15mm 2.55cts.
Band is about 1.65 - 1.75mm.

I select each stone individually, some may have tiny imperfections but they are so sweet and lovely to me, it reminds me of the journey they've been through.
